Why did you leave your husband? He was both physically and verbally abusive.
How long have you and Kirk been dating? Since December 2011. So, not very long. I am so blessed to have him in my life, though. He makes me want to be a better person.
Was your husband a Marine? Heavens, no. I reblog a lot of military/Marine stuff because my best friend is married to a Marine. I’ve gone to the ball and it was a blast. A lot of the people I associate with are military/former military.
Have you always lived in Iowa? No. I was born in Minnesota, lived in Canada for a wee bit, moved to Oregon, and came here 10 years ago.
How did you almost die in April? I overdosed on 32 prescription sleeping pills.
Why do you have PTSD? I was abused until I moved the summer going into 5th grade, and I was physically and verbally abused by my husband for seven years.
Are you still depressed? Do you still cut? No, and no. Sure, I get sad once in a while. Everyone does. I’m a single mom. It’s tough as hell. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
I see a lot of thinspiration things on your blog. Are you anorexic/bulimic? Do I LOOK anorexic/bulimic? lol. I love food. To be honest though, I don’t think ana/mia ever leaves anyone. I think it goes dormant and resurfaces every so often. At least that’s been my experience. It’s dormant right now.
Your weight looks like it’s fluctuated a lot in your pictures. umm. Yeah. I’ve had two kids. In the last year and a half, I’ve lost 100 lbs.
Did you go to college? I am still a college student. I have my Associate’s in Business Management, and my Bachelor’s in Corporate Finance. I am an MBA student.

I’m strange and often misjudged and usually never given a chance before dismissed. I have always been that weird pretty girl, the girl who has always been out of step. I choose to use the misfortunes that have happened in my life and want to help others. I over-analyze EVERYTHING. Some of my closest friends in life I have never met in person. I am incredibly intuitive. I feel I can bring the best out in people. I have extreme compassion and empathy.
